Disgraced Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY), during a Tuesday interview on Fox News, weighed in on the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan under the Biden administration, criticizing 45th President Donald J. Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo over previous negotiations that were made under the Trump administration.
Fox News contributor Leo Terrell slammed Cheney in a series of tweets following her remarks, proclaiming, “She is so bad, I want to move to Wyoming and run against her!!!”
“I’m sure you’re aware of President in a number of interviews has said this would not have happened if he were in charge. What do you think?” Cavuto asked Cheney.
“Well, look. He set this in motion. He began the process of negotiating with the Taliban. He said many times the Taliban was gonna kill terrorists on our behalf. He praised the Taliban. He apparently wanted to invite them to Camp David,” Cheney claimed.
“So he fundamentally misunderstood the situation on the ground and did real damage to our partners, the Afghan government, by excluding them from those negotiations. So the idea that you could sit at a table and negotiate with the Taliban, count on them to defend our security is wrong. And we heard a lot of things from President Trump and Secretary Pompeo that were wrong,” she alleged.
“But again, President Biden is the commander in chief right now and he is the one who made the decision to withdrawal now and do it the way he’s done it, and he bears, certainly, the brunt of the responsibility for what’s unfolding on the ground,” Cheney then admitted. Video Below

The agreement former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had signed in Doha in February 2020 established a U.S. withdrawal deadline of May 2021 — provided the Taliban met a series of conditions.
Fox News contributor Leo Terrell fired back on Tuesday following Cheney’s remarks in series of tweets, voicing a possible desire to run against the the Wyoming congresswoman.
“Liz Cheney is on Fox: Just threw President Trump and Mike Pompeo under the bus. She has no credibility. She must be defeated and retired !!!” Terrell wrote.
