Joe Biden campaign surrogates appear to be “waking up” to the seriousness of the unrest that’s developed in Portland, Oregon, among other big Democrat-run cities.

In wake of another violent night in Portland that left one person dead, left-leaning cable news host Joe Scarborough urged Oregon’s governor Kate Brown and Portland’s mayor Ted Wheeler to call in the National Guard to put an end to the chaos, since they obviously can’t handle it.

“Portland’s mayor and Oregon’s governor have been deplorable in the ongoing crisis gripping the city,” Scarborough tweeted.

“The chaos continues nightly. If they can’t control their streets and keep their citizens safe from agitators and anarchists, then call in the National Guard,” he demanded. “This has to stop now.”

Scarborough’s statement comes just days after mayor Wheeler told President Trump in a letter that he is “declining his recurring offer to aid Portland by sending federal enforcement to the city.” Wheeler has also attempted to pin blame on the President for deadly violence in Portland, despite Trump’s persistence to help control the situation.

In response to Scarborough’s tweet, former Hollywood actor James Woods wrote, “The #SleepyJoe mob is waking up, now that their polls are tanking. They unleashed the #Antifa/#BLM mob and they’re paying the price.”

CNN host, Don Lemon, recently sounded the alarm on the negative impact that mass riots could be having on Joe Biden’s campaign.

“I think this is a blind spot for Democrats. I think Democrats are ignoring this problem or hoping that it will go away, and it’s not going to go away,” Don Lemon told his colleague Chris Cuomo last Tuesday. “The problem is not gonna be fixed by [Election Day]. But what they can do, and I think maybe Joe Biden may be afraid to do it … he’s got to address it.”

In ending, here is a segment featuring Fox News host Greg Gutfeld, where he discusses Democrats ignoring violent riots until it impacted the polls:
