“Did Joe Biden just look the 82nd Airborne in the eye and tell them they’re going to war in Ukraine?” questioned Jesse Watters on Friday rolling a clip of Biden appearing to tell U.S. troops what they should expect to see “when you’re there” in Ukraine.
Biden made the remark while addressing members of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division after lunching on pizza and posing for selfies with dozens of paratroopers at a mess hall in Rzeszow, southeastern Poland, according to the New York Post.
“You’re going to see when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re gonna see — you’re gonna see women, young people standing in the middle in front of a damned tank just saying, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m holding my ground,’” Biden said.
Moments later, the White House released a statement trying to clarify Biden’s remark.
“The president has been clear we are not sending US troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position,” a Biden spokesman told Fox News.
In response, Jesse Watters declared, “There’s two options here. Either the White House is lying to us, or Biden’s dumb. Either way, this is a huge problem. The commander-in-chief looks like a goofball and Russia is reading in to everything Biden is saying.”
“Somebody hand this guy a note card so he doesn’t get us into World War III,” added Watters. Video Below
