On Thanksgiving, “political reporter” at Newsweek, Jessica Kwong, got blasted on Twitter after posting an article titled: “How is Trump spending Thanksgiving? Tweeting, golfing and more”

Jessica Kwong wrote in her article, “President Donald Trump has been spending his Thanksgiving holidays at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, which he calls the ‘winter White House,’ and this year is no exception.”

“As with any other day of the year, Trump will probably be tweeting, or expressing his opinions in another way,” Kwong also wrote.

As it was widely reported, the President actually spent his Thanksgiving flying 13 hours from Florida to Bahram Airfield in Afghanistan, humbly serving Thanksgiving dinner to the troops, and addressing the soldiers in a speech.

After learning the facts of what the President was really up to on Thanksgiving, Kwong updated her article, later deleted her initial tweet, and labeled it an “honest mistake.”

Kwong posted a screenshot of her initial tweet and a link to her updated article. She then captioned it: “Deleting this tweet because it was written before knowing about the president’s surprise visit to Afghanistan-an honest mistake. Story has already been updated, as shown in the screenshot.” See Below

Donald Trump Jr. responded after seeing Kwong’s tweet where she labeled her false article as an “honest mistake.”

“It wasn’t an ‘honest mistake’ you tried to dunk on Trump and ended up dunking on yourself because you couldn’t resist,” Trump Jr. said in a reply to Kwong.

“Notice how there’s never been a story that broke in Trump’s favor & had to be corrected the other way?” he added. “These aren’t mistakes, they are a very consistent pattern.” See Below
