In a recent article, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Trump 2020 advisory board member, Steve Cortes, had been “benched” by CNN despite being a paid contributor. Cortes reportedly hadn’t been seen on the network for over a month as per the report.
The Hollywood Reporter was told by a former contributor, “They just won’t book him. They’ll just pay him. They won’t fire him, because that’s just blatant. But they won’t book him, and they’ll tell all the producers not to book him.”
GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel reacted as it appears CNN could be systematically silencing voices in support of President Trump on their network.
McDaniel said, “CNN isn’t a news network, they’re a propaganda outlet whose main goal is to elect Democrats.”
“They used to do a better job hiding it before Zucker, but the mask is now completely off,” she declared.
Donald Trump Jr. chimed in on the matter after seeing McDaniel’s statement.
In response to McDaniel’s tweet, Don Jr. said, “First @CNN let go several pro-Trump contributors. Now they’ve benched the remaining ones.”
