Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) brought a crowd of supporters to their feet when announcing that she officially filed articles of impeachment against Joe Biden.
Rep. Greene made the announcement while speaking at an event in Bascom, Ohio, and just hours after revealing the impeachment documents that she introduced on Friday.
After railing about Biden’s ‘shameful’ leadership in regards to Afghanistan and the U.S. southern border, Rep. Greene is seen on video saying, “And for that reason I am going to announce that I have filed articles of impeachment on Joe Biden.” The audience immediately stood and applauded.
“And I did that on behalf of the American people. Those aren’t articles of impeachment for Marjorie Taylor Greene. Those are articles of impeachment for the United States of America,” declared Rep. Greene.
The congresswomen posted the video to her Twitter account and captioned it:
On behalf of the America people, earlier today I introduced articles of impeachment against Joe Biden for his dereliction of duty in Afghanistan, his violations of immigration law causing a national security crisis on our Southern border, and his usurping of the Constitutional balance of power by ignoring the ruling of the Supreme Court. #AmericaFirst
