John Kerry Issues A Statement After Being Caught Not Wearing A Mask On Airplane: “It Was Momentary”

John Kerry is now suggesting “it was momentary” when he was caught on camera not wearing a mask while riding on a commercial flight,

According to Breitbart, the initial image of the incident was first published by the Tennessee Star on Wednesday, who reported that Kerry was not eating or drinking at the time it was taken. The photo immediately went viral after Donald Trump Jr. got ahold of it and uploaded it to his Twitter account.

It didn’t take long for American Airlines to find out about the photo, as they reiterated their stringent mask policy in reaction to the photo.

“We require masks on board our aircraft and are looking into this,” American Airlines wrote. See Below

As the photo made it’s way around social media, John Kerry — who serves as Joe Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate — had no choice but to issue a statement to try to save face.

“Feels like there’s some St. Patrick’s day ‘malarkey’ afoot on Twitter,” Kerry tweeted. Let’s be clear: If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary.”

“I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do,” he added. See Below
