Congressman Steve Scalise nailed down a bold assessment after reviewing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Sunday interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.

Scalise came to the conclusion that impeachment was nothing but a “Democrat hit job” used against President Trump. And he tweeted a video clip to back up his claim, that shows Pelosi suggesting that President Trump will not be in the White House much longer “one way or another”, and he will be “impeached forever.”

Pelosi made the suggestion as part of her reaction to President Trump saying she will go down as “one of the worst Speakers in the history of our country.”

“But again, it’s Sunday morning, let’s be optimistic about the future– a future that will not have Donald Trump in the White House, one way or another,” Pelosi is heard saying in the clip Scalise provided.

“Ten months from now, we will have an election, if we don’t have him removed sooner,” she added. “But again, he will be impeached forever.”

Scalise slammed Pelosi’s remarks and issued three core takeaways before signifying what it ultimately means with regards to the Democrat-led impeachment effort. Video Below

Scalise tweeted, “Pelosi said today:

– Trump won’t be president next year ‘one way or another’
– Dems may ‘have him removed sooner’ than the election
– Trump ‘will be impeached forever’

“It’s clear: Impeachment was a Democrat hit job to stain Trump’s legacy and hurt him at the polls. Nothing more,” he concluded.Video Below
