During a Fox News Iowa Town Hall in Des Moines on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump said he knows who he will pick for vice president, but was short of revealing his decision to the audience.

“Who would be in the running for vice president?” Martha MacCallum asked Trump, ahead of the Iowa caucuses.

“I can’t tell you that, really. I mean, I know who it’s going to be,” Donald Trump said.

Bret Baier asked Trump if he would “give us a hint”, but the 45th President told him, “We’ll do another show sometime.”

MacCallum wondered if it would be any of the Republicans that he was running against. “Would you be open to mending fences, with any of them?” she asked.

“Oh, sure. I will. I already started to like Christie better,” he joked, referring to former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who suspended his campaign earlier in the day. “I don’t see it. Christie for vice president? … Nah.”
