45th President Donald J. Trump reacted Friday to the massive redacting of the federal affidavit which allegedly justified the August 8th FBI raid on his Mar-a Lago home, calling the move “total public-relations subterfuge” and evidence of a “WITCH HUNT!!!”
Nearly an hour after the heavily blacked-out document was made public, the 45th Commander-in-Chief proclaimed on his Truth Social site, “Affidavit heavily redacted!!!”
“Affidavit heavily redacted!!! Nothing mentioned on ‘Nuclear,’ a total public relations subterfuge by the FBI & DOJ, or our close working relationship regarding document turnover – WE GAVE THEM MUCH,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, referring to a report from the Washington Post, who claimed sensitive files about nuclear weapons were among those being sought.
Trump previously had called the Washington Post’s report a hoax and a continuation of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative that was peddled by legacy news outlets. “Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more. Same sleazy people involved,” Trump fired back on Truth Social August 12.
“Judge Bruce Reinhart should NEVER have allowed the Break-In of my home,” Trump said of the magistrate judge who signed off on the release of the heavily blacked-out affidavit.
“He recused himself two months ago from one of my cases based on his animosity and hatred of your favorite President, me,” he said, referring to a case involving Hillary Clinton. “What changed? Why hasn’t he recused himself on this case?”
“Obama must be very proud of him right now! Trump declared, further adding, “WITCH HUNT!!!”
The 45th President also posted a clip from a Friday interview with Lou Dobbs on “The Great American Show” podcast, in which Trump insisted he “did nothing wrong.”
“We were essentially attacked — we were broken into. They opened up safes, they brought safe crackers, and they brought many, many FBI agents in — all right before the midterms,” he said of the FBI raid. “This is a political attack on our country, and it’s a disgrace. And the people understand it. … They took things that they never should have that are privileged. … And it just never ends. It’s the same people, the same leaks. They leak to the same places. The same people doing the leaking. It’s a disgrace. Our country is a wreck.”
