Candace Owens called on the FBI to be “legally and formally dissolved” following the raid of 45th President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago beach estate.

Trump was in New York City when the raid was carried out. An FBI source confirmed that FBI agents from Washington, D.C. who are on the bureau’s Evidence Response Team conducted the raid and notified the Miami Field Office just before, Fox News reported.

“The FBI must be legally and formally dissolved,” Owens tweeted in reaction to the raid.

“What happened to President Trump is positively stunning and a mark of unchecked government power,” she added. “I no longer recognize the country I live in. Left or right, we must all come together to fight this evil.”

30+ FBI agents reportedly confiscated 15 boxes of materials in their pre-dawn raid of Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump said in a statement just as news broke of the raid.

“It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections,” he added.
