In a ruling related to a congressional investigation of the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol, a federal judge this week concluded that it is “more likely than not” that former President Donald Trump committed two separate federal crimes as part of an effort to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential contest, VOA News reported.
45th President Donald J. Trump issued email statements in response to reported “voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election” as the January 6 Committee continues its alleged investigation “to try and destroy the lives of many wonderful people” according to Trump, noting, however, that “massive evidence” of election fraud is “available upon request” and hinted there is “much more to come”.
“So the Radical Left Democrats in Congress and the Unselect Committee continue to seek the destruction of lives of very good people, but have no interest in going after the criminals and thugs who cheated like mad dogs on the 2020 Presidential Election,” 45th President Trump said in a Monday statement.
“All the evidence is in and conclusive, but they, and the Fake News Media, refuse to look at or report it. They call it the Big Lie, but the Big Lie is the exact opposite—they are the liars, they are the cheaters, and they are the ones who are destroying our Country at the Voting Booths, the Borders, the Gas Stations, with our Military, our Vets, Foreign Relations, and everywhere else!” he added.
On Tuesday, the Trump followed up with another statement: “So, let’s get this straight. The Democrats commit massive and overwhelming voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election, and they want the Republicans to go to jail for investigating and protesting a very crooked Election? Republicans must get tough (and smart!) and not let them get away with the Crime of the Century!”
In a second statement on Tuesday, the 45th President slammed members of the Jan. 6 committee, accusing them of trying to “destroy the lives of many wonderful people”.
“Shifty Adam Schiff and the same ‘scum’ who fought us on Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and more, coupled with Crazy Liz Cheney and Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, have gone on, as the Unselect Committee, to try and destroy the lives of many wonderful people. It can’t be allowed to happen!” Trump said in his statement.
Most recently, the January 6 committee unanimously voted Monday night to recommend that former Trump aides Peter Navarro and Dan Scavino be held in contempt of Congress for failing to cooperate with subpoenas. Monday’s vote comes after the committee released a 34-page report recommending the contempt charges on Sunday night, CBS News reported.
During a PBS Newshour interview this week, Rep. Schiff told anchor Judy Woodruff, “… The Justice Department needs to move on these criminal referrals, and it needs to do that with alacrity. We’re trying to prevent another attack like January 6, and we feel a real sense of urgency about it.”
In a third statement on Tuesday, the 45th President said “massive evidence” of election fraud is “available upon request”, hinting at “much more to come”.
“While they say that January 6 was an ‘attempted coup,’ which it was not, they should add that the Election on November 3 was the actual coup. All you have to do is look at the massive evidence in Swing States, available upon request (with much more to come). Our Country is paying a big price for that Rigged Election!” Trump said.
The 45th President also sent out email statement to readers, attaching an article by Stephen Dinan from the Washington Times, titled “Biden got 255,000 ‘excess’ votes in fraud-tainted swing states in 2020, study finds”.
