Michael Flynn, retired Army lieutenant general and former national security advisor to 45th President Donald J. Trump, released a statement on the unfolding situation in Ukraine on Thursday morning, saying, “This ‘invasion’ was totally avoidable” and blamed Joe Biden for his “rotten foreign and domestic policies”.
Flynn’s statement comes after Russia launched an attack on Ukraine Wednesday night, including Kyiv, that Russia called a “special military operation”. Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened “consequences you have never seen” to any country that interferes in Ukraine.
