Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) announced on Wednesday that she is endorsing Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano (R), who is running for governor of the Keystone State, Arizona State Senator Kelly Townsend (R), who is running for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, and Kari Lake, who is running for governor of the Grand Canyon State.

The 2022 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be contested. Thirty-nine state and territorial gubernatorial and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested. This will be the first election affected by the redistricting that will follow the 2020 census, Wikipedia reports.

Senator Doug Mastriano opened his candidacy for Pennsylvania governor on Saturday. The primary is scheduled for May 17.

Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported:

Mr. Mastriano, 58, was elected to the state Senate in May 2019 to represent Franklin and Adams counties after a special election to fill the vacancy created by the mid-term resignation of former Sen. Rich Alloway.

Born in New Jersey, Mr. Mastriano is a graduate of Eastern University in St. Davids, Pa., and wrapped up his 30-year career as an Army officer with assignments on the faculty at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle. He ran for Congress in 2018, finishing fourth in an eight-candidate field, before pivoting to the state Senate race upon Mr. Alloway’s unexpected retirement. Continued Below

Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano says Governor Tom Wolf is “out of touch”:

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers announced her endorsement for Mr. Mastriano, writing on Twitter Wednesday, “I endorse Senator [Doug Mastriano] for governor of Pennsylvania.”

“He is the only one who stood up to fight for forensic audits and was one of the few to oppose medical tyranny. He stood alone with courage time and time again,” she pointed out, as the state senator from Franklin County has parlayed anger over coronavirus pandemic rules and who has strongly pushed for a forensic audit over the 2020 general and 2021 primary elections in the Keystone State.

“Doug is a phenomenal leader who has incredible integrity. If you want the Commonwealth to get back on the right track by opposing medical tyranny, restoring the integrity of your elections, protecting your gun rights, and lowering taxes, please join me and get behind Senator and Colonel Doug Mastriano,” Senator Rogers encouraged.

State Sen. Kelly Townsend announced Monday she will run for Congress to represent southern Arizona. The decision means Townsend will avoid facing fellow Republican Wendy Rogers for a legislative seat in a newly redrawn district. Townsend announced her bid for Congressional District 6 on a conservative radio show, KTAR News reported.

“Senator Kelly Townsend is a great #AmericaFirst conservative fighter. She has a servant’s heart and has been a fierce defender of our rights and election integrity. As a Navy veteran and a woman of strong faith, Kelly has the fire to take the fight against the communists,” Senator Wendy Rogers said.

“I endorse Kelly Townsend for Congress and encourage everyone to help her win. I am very excited to see her interrogate Dr. Fauci, Woke Milley and Merrick Garland on behalf of Arizona. She will make us proud!” the Arizona lawmaker expressed.

Kari Lake, a former anchor for Fox 10 News in Phoenix — who has been endorsed by 45th President Donald Trump, announced in June her plans to run for Arizona governor in the upcoming election.

According to her campaign website, Lake became a symbol of truth in journalism when she walked away from the mainstream media despite being number one in the ratings for more than two decades.

Senator Wendy Rogers gave a detailed statement on Wednesday over why she is endorsing Lake.

“I endorse [Kari Lake] for governor of Arizona. I sent her a list of bills I proposed that will help secure our border, crack down on Antifa, restore our elections, cut taxes, protect our guns, take care of our veterans, protect our history, & protect life. Her response was that she would sign every single one of them. We need this kind of leadership in Arizona,” Senator Rogers explained.

“Kari stood up to the media & walked away from a long career in journalism, even though it meant she would lose her job and her ability to earn a living. That took guts,” she expressed.

“Our nation is at a crossroads. We need bold leaders who will take the fight to the communists. Kari was great supporter of the forensic audit and is endorsed by President Trump. I wholeheartedly endorse Kari Lake & encourage all patriots to get behind her campaign immediately,” Rogers urged. Continued Below

Lake responded to Rogers’ endorsement on Thursday, writing on Twitter, ” I cannot wait to fight alongside her for the America First agenda!”
