79-year-old Joe Biden on Friday said he does not think coronavirus is here to stay, but added that he does think it will remain “in the environment here and in the world”.

“No, I don’t think COVID is here to stay, but having COVID in the environment here and in the world is probably here to stay,” Biden told reporters at the White House despite campaigning in 2020 to “shut down the virus”.

Last month, during a call with governors, Biden agreed with two GOP state executives that there is no “federal solution” to reduce COVID-19, even though the administration is pushing federal mandates to the pandemic, as previously reported by The Freedom Times.

“There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level,” Biden confessed.

Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows responded on Twitter to Biden’s admission in that “there is no federal solution” to COVID, saying that the Democrat career politician is “all talk, no results, pass the buck — the same as Biden’s 40 other years in politics”. Continued Below

“Biden spent the 2020 campaign falsely claiming he could ‘shut down the virus’ …and less than a year in, now that he and his mandates have failed spectacularly, he wants to pass blame to States. All talk, no results, pass the buck — the same as Biden’s 40 other years in politics,” Meadows wrote.

Also last month, during an interview on ABC News, Biden told David Muir “we don’t know” if we are going to “overcome” COVID.

Biden campaigned on shutting down the virus:
