White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Monday refused to give an explanation over why career politician Joe Biden labeled Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” — without any evidence — after the 17-year-old shot three White men, in self defense, during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year.
“Why did President Biden suggest that Kyle Rittenhouse…is a white supremacist?” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked.
Jen Psaki exhaled, then replied, “What I’m not gonna speak to right now is anything about an ongoing trial, nor the president’s past comments.”

Last year, then-Democratic presidential nominee Biden criticized incumbent President Trump on Twitter for refusing to condemn anti-BLM people as “white supremacists.” His tweet included a video which displayed an image of Kyle Rittenhouse’s face.

Rittenhouse fatally shot two men and injured another in self defense, after he fell to the ground while fleeing a group of attackers. The shooting occurred during the riots that followed the police killing of Jacob Blake in Kenosha last August.
After the Rittenhouse trial began early this month, Wendy Rittenhouse, Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother, appeared on Fox News, saying that Joe Biden “defamed” her son when he called him a white supremacist. Continued Below
“He is not a white supremacist. He is not a racist,” Wendy Rittenhouse told host Sean Hannity last week.
“… I was in shock. I was angry. President Biden [doesn’t] know my son, whatsoever. … He did that for the votes. I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son,” she expressed.
