Tucker Carlson fired back after Rep. Liz Cheney criticized the Fox host and his employer over a special report about January 6th that will soon be released to the public.

Tucker and his team have spent months investigating chaos that erupted at the Capitol Building back in January and collaborated their findings into 3-part series titled “Patriot Purge” that is set to begin airing on November 1.

Rep. Cheney, who is one of only two “GOP” reps on the highly Democrat committee in charge of investigating the events that unfolded on January 6, tweeted her negative reaction after seeing the trailer to Tucker’s special.

“It appears that @FoxNews is giving @TuckerCarlson a platform to spread the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6. As @FoxNews knows, the election wasn’t stolen and January 6 was not a “false flag” operation. @rupertmurdoch @jayawallace @Suzannescott @SpeakerRyan,” Cheney tweeted.

Tucker went on to excoriate Cheney during his Thursday night program, and posted a clip of his full response it on Twitter.

“Politicians don’t get to put parameters around your thoughts or conversations,” Tucker tweeted. “Free people are allowed to ask any question they want.”
