Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) released a statement on Thursday following a congressional hearing held by Democrats, entitled, “Assessing the Election Audit in Arizona and Threats to American Democracy” over the results of the Maricopa County, Arizona forensic audit.

Ken Bennett, the Arizona Senate’s liaison for the Maricopa County election audit, and Maricopa Board of Supervisors, Chairman Jack Sellers and Vice Chairman Bill Gates testified before the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

Senator Rogers released the following statement after Thursday’s hearing, slamming “RINO” Ken Bennett:

Ken Bennett does not represent me, my constituents, or the state of Arizona. He is an unelected individual who was caught leaking information about the audit. His assessment that the audit was never about overturning the election is wrong.

His assessment of the ballot count is wrong. When you have fraudulent ballots, duplicate ballots, and questionable ballots that total significantly MORE than the number of votes needed to win the election, the election was a SHAM and the electors need to be recalled.

Ken Bennett is the WRONG messenger of the Arizona audit results and I am sick and tired of RINOs telling me and my constituents that our voices don’t matter. Continued Below

During Thursday’s House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing, Ken Bennett told told Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) that Joe Biden “got more votes that Mr. Trump”, but did not point out or specify the irregularities found during the forensic audit amid his exchange with Khanna.

Asked he if he has “any reason today to believe that Joe Biden did not win in the state of Arizona”, Bennett replied, “Not other than the question ballots, question envelopes”.

“Do you think he is the legitimately elected president?” Rep. Khanna then asked, which Bennett responded, “Yes.” Continued Below

Bennett also claimed that the Maricopa audit results “were similar to the Maricopa County official results” and again suggested that the 45th President lost the state of Arizona to 78-year-old career politician Joe Biden.
