Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed Joe Biden during a press conference on Friday when questioned by a reporter what he thought about negative remarks Biden made a day earlier about governors who he believes are not enforcing strict COVID-19 protocols.

“Instead of encouraging people to get vaccinated and mask up, they’re ordering mobile morgues for the unvaccinated dying from COVID in their communities,” Biden said while announcing sweeping COVID-19 vaccine mandates on Thursday that will affect roughly 100 million Americans. “If these governors won’t help us beat the pandemic, I’ll use my power as president to get them out of the way.”

Asked about Biden’s remarks, Gov. DeSantis stated  as follows:

The problem I have with Joe Biden more than anything, this guy doesn’t take responsibility for anything. He’s always trying to blame other people, blame other states.

This is a guy that promised — when he ran for president — that we would shut down the virus. You look now, there’s 300% more cases today than a year ago when we had no vaccines at all. So his policies are not working. He’s doubling down on things that are going to be very destructive for the livelihoods of many, many Americans and obviously going to be destructive to our Constitutional system and our rule of law. And so, these are times when you believe in that Constitution. You got to stand up. Video Below
