Melania Trump lashed out at NBC’s so-called ‘presidential historian’ Michael Beschloss after he suggested the former First Lady wiped out “decades of American history” by the way that she redesigned the White House Rose Garden.

Criticism from Beschloss came on the one-year anniversary of the completion of the renovation project that was headed by Melania.

“Evisceration of White House Rose Garden was completed a year ago this month, and here was the grim result—decades of American history made to disappear,” Beschloss captioned a picture of the Rose Garden that he tweeted.

Melania Trump called out Beschloss for tweeting a picture of the Rose Garden “in its infancy.” And she provided a photo showing what it actually looks like in full-form.

“@BeschlossDC has proven his ignorance by showing a picture of the Rose Garden in its infancy,” the Office of Melania Trump tweeted along with a more updated picture of the Rose Garden. “The Rose Garden is graced with a healthy & colorful blossoming of roses. His misleading information is dishonorable & he should never be trusted as a professional historian.”

Trump included Beschloss’ original picture to show the contrast. See Below

Back in May, Jill Biden expressed her approval of the Rose Garden when sharing a photo of it on Twitter.

“Spring is here at the @WhiteHouse!” Jill tweeted showing a picture of flowers from the garden.
