Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is reportedly expected to announce on Friday a mandatory vaccine policy for all active-duty forces in the U.S. military.
The directive for all 1.3 million service members to get shots in their arms comes one day after Joe Biden urged all federal employees to get vaccinated, Fox News reported.

Austin will make his recommendation to the White House tomorrow, and the official announcement is expected Friday.
The decision comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported a more than 64 percent spike in coronavirus cases nationwide over the last seven days. The New York Times was first to report the story.
Following the announcement of a mandatory vaccine policy for all active-duty forces in the U.S. military, Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) reacted, blasting “woke Communist” Lloyd Austin, recommending that the Secretary of Defense “needs to go”. Continued Below
“By forcing our military to vaccinate the franken-jab, #SleepyJoe is doing to them what they are fighting to defend against – tyranny around the world,” State Senator Rogers wrote in a tweet on Wednesday.
“And that joke of a Secretary of Defense is nothing more than a woke Communist. He needs to go,” she urged.
Rogers followed up with an additional tweet, writing, “The corporate communist globalist satanic Uniparty is the faction our founders warned us about.” Continued Below
According to Senator Rogers’ bio via Arizona State Legislature:
Retired Lt. Col. Wendy Rogers served in the Airforce and became one of the first 100 women pilots in today’s Air Force by earning her wings at Williams AFB in Arizona. Following Air Force jet training, Wendy piloted worldwide airlift and humanitarian missions in the C-141 transport jet for several years.
Wendy then served as a flight instructor for cadets at the US Air Force Academy. The latter half of Wendy’s 20-year Air Force career placed her overseas. While in Europe, Wendy piloted Air Force C-21 Learjets and led three different operational divisions at Headquarters US Air Forces Europe.
During the fall of the Berlin Wall and efforts to improve relations with former East Bloc countries, Wendy was deployed for six months downrange to run the Bosnian Airlift. She finished her career with over 3,000 hours of jet time and numerous commendations, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
