Appearing for an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) claimed the American people now realize that Joe Biden is not the ‘moderate, reasonable guy’ that he campaigned as, and is really a ‘crazy, lunatic leftist.’
The Texas senator insists Biden’s far left policies and leadership style will only benefit Republicans in the 2022 midterm elections.

“This administration is lurching radically to the left, and there’s a natural pendulum in politics,” Cruz said. “If you look at American history. When one party gets in power, often they go too far one direction. The American people pull it back.”
He continued, “And, I think, what is happening right now is a lot of people… their eyes are opening up, and they’re going ‘Wait a second. Joe Biden campaigned as a moderate, reasonable guy — not as a crazy, lunatic leftist.’ And what we’re seeing now, I think, is setting us up to have a very good election in 2022 and an even better election in 2024.”
