Senator Ted Cruz got into a brief congrontation with the media on Wednesday after a reporter urged him to put on a mask.
The situation unfolded just as Sen. Cruz was about to speak at a press conference.
The reporter from the press field asked, “Would you mind putting on a mask on for us?”
Senator Cruz fired back, “Uh yeah, when I’m talking to the TV cameras I’m not going to wear a mask, and all of us have been immunized, so…”
“It would make us feel better,” the reporter replied.
“You’re welcome to step away if you’d like,” Sen. Cruz responded. “The whole point of a vaccine — CDC guidance is what we’re following.” Video Below

According to KTSA, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises that fully vaccinated people ‘can start to do some things that they had stopped doing because of the pandemic.’ However, the CDC advises, ‘you should keep taking precautions in public places like wearing a mask, staying 6 feet apart from others and avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces until we know more.'”
