Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany slammed Joe Biden for failing to give the Trump Administration credit during his first ever prime-time national address on Thursday.
In his 23-minute speech, Biden encouraged the public to remain vigilant in the coming months by wearing masks and getting vaccinated with a goal of allowing for small gatherings during Independence Day weekend.
Biden also touted his administration’s efforts against the coronavirus, without giving credit to the Trump Administration with regards to the accessibility of the vaccine due to Operation Warp Speed.
Kayleigh McEnany was quick to point out Biden’s lack of gratitude towards the Trump Administration’s Covid efforts.

“Even the media acknowledges the Trump administration’s role in spearheading vaccine development and procurement, but President Biden REFUSES to say the truth,” McEnany tweeted immediately follwing Biden’s speech.

McEnany furthered her criticism of Biden on Hannity, where she mentioned that a top White House advisor was able to acknowledge the Trump Administration earlier on Thursday for their vaccine efforts, yet Biden failed to do the same in his scripted 23-minute address.
