Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her latest remarks involving the crisis in Texas and the Green New Deal.

As millions of Texans were left without power due to severe effects of a winter storm that swept across the state, Ocasio-Cortez blamed infrastructure failures on leaders not pursuing policies laid out in the Green New Deal.

“The infrastructure failures in Texas are quite literally what happens when you *don’t* pursue a Green New Deal,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

“Weak on sweeping next-gen public infrastructure investments, little focus on equity so communities are left behind, climate deniers in leadership so they don’t long prep for disaster,” she added. “We need to help people *now.* Long-term we must realize these are the consequences of inaction.”

Tomi Lahren blasted Ocasio-Cortez’s assessment of the situation in Texas while appearing on Saturday’s airing of Justice With Judge Jeanine.

“Let’s just be honest, AOC tweets things. I think she wants to be a reality star,” Lahren said. “Nobody takes her seriously beyond the cult-like following that she has on social media.”

She continued: “I would say that all of that climate change, the hugging of the trees, the worshipping of all this alarmism — it sounds and looks great until you have frozen wind turbines and you’re literally frozen to death. But AOC, I don’t think, understands that at all.” Video Below
