Congressman Adam Schiff was visibly infuriated leading up Amy Coney Barrett’s official confirmation to the Supreme Court on Monday.

Before and after the Senate voted to confirm Barrett, Democrat leaders including Schiff, appeared to begin plotting revenge just as they promised if Republicans followed through with the process before the 2020 election.

Just before Senators voted 52-48 to confirm Barrett, Schiff blasted out a tweet where he called on the “new Congress” to “fight back.”

“This rushed confirmation is more than just a hypocritical power grab,” Schiff tweeted. “It’s more than an effort to deny voters a say.”

“It’s an assault on your healthcare, LGBTQ rights, a woman’s right to choose, voting rights, clean water and air, and more,” he added. “The new Congress must fight back.” See Below

Democrat leaders have repeatedly threatened Republicans with the highly controversial tactic of packing the Supreme Court in the event that Barrett was confirmed before the 2020 election, and if they are able to win back the Senate and presidency.

Reps Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were among two Democrats who called for Supreme Court packing immediately following Judge Barrett’s confirmation.

Republican Senator Marsha Burn swiftly pounced on “The Squad” members and called for them to “resign” for pushing the controversial maneuver.
