Joe Biden is prepared to shut down the economy a second time if he wins the presidency in November.
While interviewing with ABC’s David Muir, Biden was asked if he would shut down the U.S. economy again as soon as January if scientists told him to.
“I would shut it down; I would listen to the scientists,” Biden declared.
“I will be prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives because we cannot get the country moving, until we control the virus,” Biden said. “That is the fundamental flaw of this administration’s thinking to begin with. In order to keep the country running and moving and the economy growing, and people employed, you have to fix the virus, you have to deal with the virus.”

In response, Donald Trump Jr. slammed Biden, and warned of the repricussions the U.S. would face if, in fact, the economy were to be shut down a second time in less than a year.
“Biden wants a 2nd shutdown 5 months from now,” Donald Trump Jr. tweeted. “He would destroy small businesses, kill jobs & ruin the lives of millions of families.”
“A 2nd shutdown in Jan would crush the middle-class & allow leftwing corps like Amazon to consolidate even more power. That’s what this is about,” he added. See Below
