Social media erupted after Democrat Senator Kamala Harris announced the end of her bid for President on Tuesday.
In response to news of Kamala dropping out of the race, Senate hopeful Corey Lewandowski prompted a sarcastic reaction from President Trump.
“Another one bites the dust,” Lewandowski said in a tweet. “Guess it’s not as easy as everyone thought. @realDonaldTrump connected with people that’s why he won 38 Primaries and Caucuses.”
In response to Lewandowski’s tweet, President Trump replied, “Too bad. We will miss you Kamala!”
Moments later, Senator Harris replied to President Trump: “Don’t worry, Mr. President. I’ll see you at your trial.”
Kamala’s response to President Trump conveys Democrats have already made their mind up on impeachment despite still being in the middle of the process. Sheriff David Clarke pointed this out in his reply to Harris. See Below
“This kind of statement would get any juror stricken during voir dire from sitting on a jury,” Clarke said in a response to Kamala’s tweet.
“It conveys they already have their mind made up,” he added. “She should recuse herself from any Senate impeachment trial for this. As an attorney.”
“Kamala Harris should know better,” he declared. See Below
