House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) traveled to Ghana as part of a U.S. congressional delegation to discuss regional security, the climate crisis, sustainable development, and to observe the 400th anniversary of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, per Essence.
According to VOA News, Pelosi, along with House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC), Congressional Black Caucus Chair Karen Bass (D-Calif.), and Reps. Barbara Lee (D-Texas) and John Lewis (D-Ga.) were all on the trip.
While on the trip, Nancy Pelosi posed for a photo op with a little African girl and began to awkwardly dance with her.
A video surfaced that captured the awkward moment and the little girl quickly walked away.
Several people responded on Twitter in disbelief after what they witnessed, in the video, of the House Speaker. (Video below)

Exactly what are they celebrating though?
Why travel to the place that sold their own people into slavery & still practices slavery to this day…. how insane. @realDonaldTrump Travel expenses should be frozen for all members and representatives until our borders are secure.— moi (@Wild_Shijei) August 2, 2019
